This is the shrine I made for my husband for Valentine's day...It is a neat vintage frame with a drawer that was dark brown and came with a picture of the last Supper.(Which I kept of course!) I think it was originally used for prayers (put in the drawer?) I started by spray painting it red then I hot glued the sequins and embellishments. The whole thing has meaning, even the tape that I stuck into the drawer, which is Paula Abdul's "Forever your Girl"...Yes, yes. Besides the obvious title, I also have a rather "famous" lip synch video that my sister and a friend and I recorded at a booth at an Amusement Park long ago when that song was on the charts...For shame!
So, even the crudely photoshopped picture of my husband and I posing behind space suits is a nod to our belief that we will one day transcend time and download ourselves into nano-ships that propel through space.
Aaah,yes, we were made for one another and this shrine was made for him.

Ok so my pack rat ways won't let me get rid of these cassettes LOL I threw some away...but saved most of them. Their classics DAMNIT!!
